It is a must-read book on digital electronics. Best one for understanding and concept building. At last, people would have advised you to have the Digital Electronics by Morris Mano.
But from my perspective, I will not recommend you to have it as I have this book at my home. It is very boring and missing some topics. Please do not use this book if you are especially preparing for GATE. Follow the book by Morris Mano but If you feel like you need more questions for practice happened in my case then you can go for Floyd but only after completing former. I would highly recommend this book if your preparing for GATE. It contains lots of practice questions that are very much equivalent to Gate standard.
This will help you get a firm grasp on the subject and appreciate even the smaller advancements that are happening in the industry. You may get the link to download this book :. It is written in very easy language. The theory part is well explained but fewer questions for practice.
If you just want to pass the subject, I think this book is more than enough.
